It’s time we give you a tutorial-treat. ThingForward, a Zerynth Partner and reseller that specializes in making IoT development faster and easier, published a great tutorial on getting started with Python on microcontrollers using Zerynth Studio.

The post gives in-depth, step-by-step instructions, so no matter what your knowledge level is, it will be easy to follow!

It all starts with downloading and installing Zerynth Studio. If you haven’t done that so far, now is a great chance. It’s free and it’s simple to install – you can start using it right away.

For the tutorial, they used an ESP8266 and an ESP32 DevKit-C. After you connect it, you’ll easily find your board in the Zerynth Studio IDE. If you get stuck, just follow the post.

The tutorial highlights why a dynamic language like Python is great for IoT applications, where there is a higher demand for connectivity and fast data processing.

“IoT applications are expected to have higher demands for connectivity and data processing, which dynamic languages such as Python are good at. And Zerynth offers a powerful toolchain for this purpose.”

Until next time,
The Zerynth Team
