The Dublin IoT World Forum

IoT WORLD FORUM 2016 (Dublin, 21-22 November) has been the 2016 world’s leading Internet of Things Conference  focusing on IoT applications, IoT Solutions and IoT Companies for all verticals including automotive, healthcare, asset and fleet management, manufacturing, security, retail point of sales, smart grid, smart metering, smart home, energy, environment, and consumer electronics industry.

An amazing opportunity to discover how the industry is leveraging IoT technologies to transform their business through creating value and to achieve production and cost efficiencies. A great occasion for visitors to find out how Zerynth technologies can help System Integrators and Product Manufacturers reaching these goals, along with top class companies like speakers and companies including Tesco, Nest, Philips, BMW, Volvo, Uber, Huawei Technologies, Vodafone, Comarch, Eclipse Foundation, ARM and many more.

The IoTWorld 2016 has been a new test field to get validation on the value proposition that Zerynth is addressing in the IoT community:

We aim to be for the IoT & embedded what Android has been for the mobile”

From prototyping to industrialization without pain!

The Cloudification of the Internet of Things (CIoT) conference

Not only industry. Academia is the other field where addressing our message. On November 23 -25 we were in Paris, at the event Cloudification of the Internet of Things (CIoT), an international conference promoted by the IEEEiot, the branch of IEEE that serves as the gathering place for the global technical community working on the Internet of Things.

The conference covered all research and novel papers tackling the challenges of IoT systems, from the sensors and machines to the end-users attached to the Cloud, including topics like architecture and protocols for IoT, Cloud solutions for IoT, centralized and distributed systems for IoT, M2M communication, Security in IoT, End-users applications based on IoT and Cloud solutions.

We presented the latest paper about Zerynth: “A Full Stack for Quick Prototyping of IoT Solutions“, that describes Zerynth as a novel approach to the prototyping of interconnected products belonging to the Internet of Things field.

The proposed solution allows to speed up the prototyping process and to let the developers focus on coding the product behaviors instead of solving customization issues. The paper ends with a real case application that shows how an IoT industrial refrigerator smartification unit has been developed thanks to the horizontal stack here proposed.
