We’ve had a chance to participate in the Master Industry 4.0 Design Enterprise Digitalization and 4.0 Technologies event this week.
The participants had a chance to listen to lectures, taught by teachers from Tuscan universities and companies. But there was also a section dedicated to exercises, workshops, and projects held by partnering companies, such as Zerynth.
From “Hello World” to professional IoT applications with Zerynth
We held a workshop titled “From “Hello World” to professional IoT applications with Zerynth”. So, we covered everything from simple Hello World examples in Python, to building IoT applications and connecting them to the Cloud.
We showed the participants how to:
- run multithreading Python scripts on a 32-bit microcontroller in a few clicks
- read data from a digital sensor using Python
- send data from a microcontroller to a cloud in 15 lines of simple Python
Also, we had a chance to talk about the combination of Industry 4.0 and Python. More precisely about the implementation of Industry 4.0 strategies and technologies with the Zerynth tools. Thanks to our partnership with TOI – Things on Internet, and their Zerynth-powered 4ZeroPlatform, we’ve showed the participants successful use cases. How Zerynth tools and Python helped improve the equipment and machinery in factories and businesses all over the world.
Download Zerynth Studio
Do you want to program 32-bit microcontrollers in Python? Then download Zerynth Studio.
It’s free to download and available for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS. And if you don’t know where to start, we’ve got you. Zerynth Academy holds numerous tutorials for every knowledge level.
