Smart power supply for humanoid robots

Context

F.A.C.E. (Facial Automaton for Conveying Emotions) is an humanoid robot used in a structured therapeutic environment for  autistic children.

The actuating system of the robot is controlled by a SSC-32 serial servo controller with 32 servo motors which are all integrated in the android skull and neck.

Business need

To provide the robot with a power supply system, based on an Arduino DUE board mounted on a custom designed PCB.

The power supply generates 2 outputs at 7.4 Volt with up to 10A each of current, 2 outputs at 6 Volt with up to 10A each of current and 2 outputs at 12 Volts with upp to 2A each of current.
