You’ll be glad to know that we’ve just published a new step by step guide for enabling Zerynth programming in Visual Studio Code for developing Internet of Things applications.

We have prepared a VSCode template project that enables the execution of compilation, uplink, and other functions of the Zerynth toolchain (ZTC) directly from VSCode while also adding support for Zerynth libraries auto-completion.

To see the full tutorial and the list of ZTC commands available, go to the tutorial page.

If the VSCode is your code editor of choice, and you love Zerynth tools, this is the tutorial for you.

What is Visual Studio Code

Visual Studio Code is a source code editor developed by Microsoft for Windows, Linux, and macOS. It offers support for development operations like debugging, task running, code refactoring, and version control. Basically, it lets you build and debug web and Cloud applications.

You can download it and install it from here.
