“Game-changing technologies for industry transformation” was the tagline for this year’s IoT Solutions World Congress in Barcelona, and we are proud to say that Zerynth is precisely that – a game-changer.
IOT Solution World Congress overview
Zerynth participated in the biggest IoT event of this year, in Barcelona. It was such a great opportunity for every IoT provider to present their technologies to all of Europe. The event resulted in 16.000 visitors, from different countries, in one place to discuss how IoT technologies can help companies optimize their work. At the same time, it was great to check what the IoT market is providing in 2022 and evaluate the solutions from our IoT colleagues at ground zero.
What did Zerynth show?
One of the biggest questions at every event is “How do we present the maximum potential of our solutions in a limited space for many visitors at the same time”? As you can guess our strategy is very clear – having engaging demos.
It is the best, most optimum way to present both our products and solutions to visitors.
Demo “Coffee machine”
With Zerynth Products, you can easily digitalize your machines by simply connecting them to 4ZeroBox through sensors. And then all the data is presented on easy-to-read dashboards. Now, all processes of this coffee machine are under Zerynth’s control. If there are some problems with the operation, alarms will notify you so you can fix your production at the right moment with no need to stop the production line.
Demo “Drill”
Another direction of our business is 4.0 or Industrial Optimization. Here we presented how easy it can be to understand what the machine is saying. Thanks to 4ZeroBox Mobile, which supports Cellular Connectivity, we can get data from the machines that are placed at different locations, with no need for Wi-Fi or Ethernet cables. With the Zerynth Platform, it is easy to monitor the whole production process in real-time, optimize its power consumption, and cycle production, as well as, machine status.
Demo Totem “Feel Your Machine”
The most popular demo at our booth this year was the Totem which featured an implemented aroma diffuser. It is the first IoT atomizer that is able to monitor and present the KPIs of all demos in a single display, as well as spray an amazing perfume around Zerynth’s stand. With this event, we have proven that our Platform can make you feel your machines as easily as it is to feel a fresh fragrance from the heart of Italy. Moreover, our Totem received some valuable accolades from the IOTSWC audience.
What are the IOT priorities of the audience at IOTSWC2022 in Barcelona?
The Totem interface was used in Barcelona to interact with visitors in order to understand their opinions about the role of IoT technologies in the digitalization of industrial machinery. We asked them what their priority in Industry 4.0 was and, from their survey replies, received feedback about their interests and needs. Here are the results of the survey:

At this event, we found one of the oldest machines in our practice that still wants to be digitalized – a 50-year-old machine! That is really a record. But because of the Zerynth Platform, this is possible to do using the retrofit mode.

Zerynth’s experience at IOTSWC
Summing up, it was certainly a great opportunity to take part in such an important international event. We were able to explore the current state of the IoT market to better understand its needs and requirements. How IoT technology can connect industrial machines anywhere in the world and enable Industry 4.0, and what could be the role of the Zerynth IoT platform in this global digitalization process.
