We had our first Zerynth Continuous Learning webinar last week. If you’ve watched the webinar you got to learn about UX design for IoT projects straight from the experts.

For this first webinar, Daniele Mazzei, our Co-founder, and Chief Innovation Officer talked about User Experience design in the context of IoT. Daniele is an Assistant Professor at the Computer Science department of the University of Pisa where he teaches Human Machine Interface and Social Robotics.

And if you haven’t, here’s a little snippet, to show you how it went:

UX Desing for IoT Projects Webinar

Daniele’s presentation taught everyone how to handle the complexity of UX design for connected devices. The specialized nature of connected devices requires a change it the mindset of the developer.  Essentially, IoT has its own design rules.

As you probably already know, IoT is very sectorial, and each device is highly specialized. The bridges between the physical and virtual worlds are often one-sided – the interactions are from the user to the device without any obvious feedback.

Our webinar was dedicated to teaching everyone how to bridge those gaps.
