Silicon Valley is hosting the largest IoT event series in the world, on the 28th and 29th of November, and the Zerynth team will be there.
IoT Tech Expo North America is taking place at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Over 13,000 people are coming to learn about innovative projects and ideas in IoT. With over 350 exhibitors and 500 speakers, it’s bound to be an amazing event.
Read on to find out what demos we will be showing at the Zerynth booth, and where to find us.
From sensor to the Cloud in just 15 lines of Python
Did you know that you can send data to the Cloud with just 15 lines of Python with our newest code example?
Take a look at the code:
from wireless import wifi
from espressif.esp32net import esp32wifi as wifi_driver
from bosch.bme280 import bme280
from aws.iot import iot, default_credentials
endpoint, mqttid, clicert, pkey = default_credentials.load()
thing = iot.Thing(endpoint, mqttid, clicert, pkey)
sensor = bme280.BME280(I2C0)
Come by the booth and we’ll explain how we got the inspiration to make it, and we’ll show you more useful demos.
Blockchain meets Python
Blockchain is certainly one of the most talked about topics this year in the tech industry. The IoT Tech Expo North America is going to be buzzing with projects and ideas revolving around it.
If you come by the Zerynth booth you’ll get a chance to learn how to use a combination of Python and Blockchain for IoT and industry 4.0 applications. We wrote a Zerynth Academy article about this, which you can read here.
4ZeroPlatform, an industrial IoT solution
The 4ZeroPlatform – an industry 4.0 a plug-and-play data gathering, processing, and reporting solution by our partners TOI (Things on Internet) – will take center stage for one of the demos.
The 4ZeroPlatform is made out of two parts – the 4ZeroBox and the 4ZeroManager.
The 4ZeroBox is a Zerynth powered industrial microcontroller-based board, and it’s fully programmable in Python through Zerynth Studio. The 4ZeroBox also has a Zerynth Virtual Machine license on board, a multithreaded Real-Time OS tailored for IoT.
To learn more about this amazing platform, see TOI’s official page.
